M. Phil. & Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning:
The two years M. Phil. Degree program in CRP is a research degree program which is exclusively arranged for senior planners, who are intending to do research on a variety of planning issues of their interest and choice.
In the backdrop of present government’s firm commitment to foster Indigenous Ph.D. research in the country, the department has contributed its due share towards achieving this goal. The department is highly equipped with the required research facilities like latest research laboratories and the library. Presently, there are about ten students who are doing their Ph.D. research on various planning issues. The Ph.D. program has been able to attract the in-house faculty as well as planners from the field.
